AGARTALA, March 12 (TIWN): BJP booth office was set on fire by unknown miscreants in Dharmanagar causing huge tension in the area. Along with the party office, a vehicle was also burnt in the incident which was kept inside the office. The investigating police officer said, “Based on the complaint, we just now reached here and started an investigation. Further details will be revealed after the inquiry is completed.”
The police officer also said they needed to find out the exact cause of the fire as it’s not known yet how the fire was ignited.
BJP leader condemned the incident.
“Political reason should never cause such incidents. I would request everyone to refrain from such activities. All parties should prove themselves through hard work and not by such revenge politics,” said a party leader.
