AGARTALA, Jan 3 (TIWN): First it was ‘Biplab Hatao, BJP Bachao’, ‘Biplab Hatao, Tripura Bachao’ slogan raised by rebel BJP activists and maximum of them joined Congress later. Then Congress raised ‘BJP Hatao, Tripura Bachao’ slogan. Today CPI-M has raised ‘BJP Hatao’ slogan. With that slogan, CPI-M walked from Krishna Nagar Nagar to various areas of the Agartala City.

Addressing media, a CPI-M leader said, “In entire Tripura there is only one slogan that is to remove the Govt which came into power in Tripura in 2018. This is an anti-people Govt, seized people democratic rights”.

“Freedom of speech has been snatched by BJP. People do not have works. Huge work and food crisis continue. Our fight is to restore the Democracy in Tripura”.

Tripura CPI-M and Congress are going to align in the upcoming 2023 Election, although BJP challenged that it will be a ‘historical blunder’.
