AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): Shibu Das, a resident of Bilonia area used to drive by staying in a rented house in Jirania area for a long time. On Sunday night after dropping the vehicle Shibu Das speaking to his wife over phone while returning to the rented house. Meanwhile his wife heard a loud noise through the phone and immediately the mobile phone got disconnected.

After many attempts, Shibu Das's wife could not contact her husband. As a result, Shibu Das's wife became suspicious and rushed to the Jirania area from Bilonia on Monday morning. On the way to Jirania, Shibu Das’s wife found his husband’s dead body lying in a drain.

The police of Jirania PS were informed the police rushed to the spot, recovered the dead body and brought it to GB Hospital for post-mortem.

Shibu Das's wife complained at GB Hospital that her husband was killed. She also complained to the media that other drivers were involved in this murder.
