AGARTALA, Aug 30 (TIWN): Unemployed youths are moving towards an uncertain future due to job crisis, pause in various recruitments under State Govt Depts. Even after the gherao program was staged for hours amid police intimidation in Agartala JRBT office on Monday but no proper response was received. Even after High Court has allowed the State Govt to continue JRBT recruitments, so far no action took place. Agitated unemployed youths today gheraoed JRBT office, expressed frustration. Arguments with police personnel were witnessed and the media was stopped from covering the candidate’s meeting with JRBT authority.
The job aspirants said they have been waiting for 1-year for JRBT results but there is no sign of result publication whereas the elections are knocking on doors.
There are repeated allegations that JRBT recruitment is under corruption and that’s the reason, BJP Govt is delaying the recruitment in an attempt to postpone it after the 2023 Election.
On August 2023, Tripura High Court allowed Tripura State Govt to complete the JRBT recruitment process, removing the stay order.
After the order, JRBT job aspirants requested the state govt to finish the process soon as it has been a year since the exam was over.
Talking to a lawyer, he said, that the stay order was removed by the Court.
The petition was filed by candidates who alleged that they could not appear in JRBT exam due to Covid-situation. Today State Govt again sought some time and based on that High Court removed the stay order as ‘enough’ time was already given to the state.
So as the interim order is removed, there is no problem remaining in recruitment.
Keeping a view of the High Court’s order now, the JRBT job aspirants have demanded immediate recruitment.
