AGARTALA, July 5 (TIWN): Congress members led by former MLA Asish Saha visited Udaipur and met the affected families there who were allegedly attacked by BJP miscreants after the poll was over. Addressing media in Udaipur, Saha said, “Statewide BJP’s attacks have been torturing the masses. People are unable to bear the tortures but the Chief Minister is not taking any responsibility to end the problems and also he has no stand against the violence. The affected people must be given compensations”.
Asish Saha further announced that if actions are not taken against the miscreants, Congress will go in massive protest.
Referring attack on Journalist Tapas Das, Asish Saha said, “After writing news against Sushanta Chowdhury the journalist was attacked. In the same way, there is no action against the miscreants”.
