AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): Ruling ADC party Tipra Motha Chief Pradyot Manikya on Saturday while addressing media in a joining program at Agartala Town Hall dismissed the entry of BJP or IPFT leaders into Tipra Motha without resigning from their posts. Pradyot Manikya said like Brishketu Debbarma, if anyone wants to join Tipra Motha, s/he must give up the possessing post. The reaction came from the Tipra Motha chief after he was asked by media about Mebar Jamatia’s joining possibilities in the party. The program was conducted in Agartala Town Hall where around 1800 families from IPFT had joined Tipra Motha party. Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Manikya was present in the program and welcomed the new party members.

Addressing media, Pradyot Manikya said, “We are not against anyone but we unitedly will take our Tipraland movement forward”.

On being asked about whether Mebar Jamatia will join Tipra Motha or not, Pradyot Manikya said, “Nobody with MLA post or any post in Govt will be accepted in our party. One has to cut the relation with the Govt because the Govt is not accepting our demands”.
