AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): On 26th Feb, Congress joining programme at Math Chowmuhani, Agartala had undergone severe attacks by BJP workers who wearing helmets not only attacked the Congress rally but also demolish the programme. Later, a clash happened among the BJP and Congress party workers. Condemning this incident Tipra Motha leader Animesh Debbarma in a press meet said, “The attack had happened on Sudip Roy Barman, but now we have come to know that Congress workers were arrested".

"Will the Congress workers attack Sudip Roy Barman? Ofcourse not, it must have been done by the opponent parties. So, police should arrest the goons accordingly".

Centering the ongoing Political violence in Tripura, Royal Scion Pradyut Manikya said, “Deadly attack was organized on me at Mohanpur, not even a single goon was arrested”. 

Pradyut Manikya demanded, those who are creating violence must be arrested and the 'Mafia-Giri', 'Goonda-Giri' should be stopped as it is destroying Tripura’s name.

"A goon is always a goon, they do not have any Political affiliation and should be arrested soon", added Debbarman.

The statement came during the Tipra Motha party had organized a party meeting for the upcoming rally on 12^th March at Astabal Ground.
