AGARTALA, March 5 (TIWN): Though Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath is claiming about ‘Quality Education’ in reality, the Education System of Higher studies remains in terrible shape. The NET, SLET, PHD forum placed a deputation to Higher Education Dept Secretary on 5 points demands. The deputation was placed with demand to fill up the vacant posts soon. Demands raised that by maintaining student-teacher ratio according to UGC guideline new posts should be created and to fill up all those posts.

After placing deputation member of NET, SLET, PHD forum organized a press meet and demanding sufficient recruitment by creating vacant posts, otherwise ‘Quality Education’ will never be successful.

The members of NET, SLET, PHD forum also said the guest lecturers in Colleges are not getting classes for the past 2 months due to crisis in Govt funds. Shortage of lecturers, Principals in Colleges pushes the Govt Colleges student’s to the dark future.

Demanding recruitment, the NET, SET, P.hd holder unemployed youths requested the Govt to recruit them at the earliest.
