AGARTALA, Dec 28 (TIWN): On 26th Dec BJP miscreants’ organised attacks on BJP resigned MLA Asish Das while returning from Dharmanagar after attending TMC’s party programme.

48 hours crossed since the attack on Asish Das but no arrest has yet been reported. Demanding investigation and immediate arrests of the attackers, TMC activists protested in front of DG office.

A young TMC activist asked, “Where an MLA is not secured then how common people will be secured?”

TMC activists stated that they will go for massive protest if Police do not take action against miscreants immediately.
