AGARTALA, Nov 23 (TIWN): In the Pragati road area, dead body has been recovered today in rotten condition, recovered by police, taken for post mortem.
The dead body was recovered after locals discovered it floating on the river first and then called police.

Police officer remained present on the spot, told media, “We were informed about the dead body and accordingly we rushed to the spot and recovered the body. The deceased has been identified as Rakesh Deb, S/O-Subal Deb”.

Police also said that Rakesh Deb had certain physical problems but after post mortem only the actual cause of the unnatural death can be known.
