AGARTALA, Oct 14 (TIWN): CPI-M further united in Tripura centering FIR against former PWD Minister Badal Choudhury and Govt officials including former PWD Chief Engineer Sunil Bhowmik.

While agitation in an unannounced protest led by former CM Manik Sarkar, former Deputy Speaker Pabitra Kar said, this is nothing but revengeful attitude of the Govt against CPI-M.

“There is absolutely no reason for filing FIR against Badal Choudhury”, added Pabitra Kar.

He further called CPI-M Statewide to hold various protests against BJP’s autocracy throughout Tripura over the illegal attacks on Opposition as well as the retired officers.

Today an illegal raid was reportedly held in the Melarmath CPI-M headquarter without search warrant led by 1) Executive Magistrate Rinku Reang, 2) SDPO Anirban Das, 3) SDPO Druva Nath, whereas CPI-M legal call said legal action againt these officials likely in coming days.
