AGARTALA, Oct 27 (TIWN): Tripura Congress MLA Ratan lal Nath on Thursday said that International Terrorist Mamun Mia was not only Sahid Chowdhury's close party activists but also an active party member used attend CPI-M's michil, meetings.

"He used to roam with Sahid Chowdhury and lived in a rented house at Agartala Ramnagar", said Nath.

"But Mamun Mia who is in Calcutta jail now, was convicted alone as Sahid Chowdhury was saved by the ruling CPI-M Govt here. No proper investigation was done in Sahid Chowdhury's terror link case with Mamun Mia", said Nath.

"We had demanded CBI investigation in that case or atleast NIA, but nothing was done. They finished the case without proper investigation. If investigation went in proper direction, then Sahid Chowdhury would be in jail today", said Nath.
