SONAMURA, May 3 (TIWN): A minor girl was kidnapped before 6 months, recovered immediately but after 6 months of the incident, the accused person was arrested.

The accused Tamal Sarkar (24) was arrested by Jatrapur Police. He is a resident under Lefunga PS.

On November 4, 2023, Tamal Sarkar kidnapped a 14-year-old girl. Based on the complaint, police recovered the girl and handed her over to her parents but the accused escaped and could not be arrested for around 6 months.

By that time, the accused person was already married to another woman and reached his home on Friday.

After getting the information, police arrested him from his home.
