AGARTALA, Oct 7 (TIWN): Beauty Rani Das who has been returned to Tripura after spoiling 1 year of year of her fake nursing training course at as Sri Venkateshwara School of Nursing College at Hyderabad. However, there had been some mutuality with the broker Chandan Sukla Das and Beauty's father Pradip Das led police not to take any action against Chandan even after indulging in such a big racket. After returning from Hyderabad the victim Beauty Rani Das said, "Students, teachers are forced there to take bath in toilets and as the toilets were occupied by teachers and South Indian students, so in the morning I had to face lot of problem as all toilets were booked. Apart from that there are food problems and various other problems I had to face". After returning Beauty said the College forcefully took signature from her but she doesn't know what were the papers. Moreover, they threatened her not to spread bad names about their College in Tripura.

The matter disclosed after Pradip Das, father of Beauty Rani Das(18) had  called press at Agartala press club on Tuesday evening exposing the chain of admission racket led by SC Welfare Dept, after he spoiled his daughter's career and his whole life's savings.

The broker was none other than SC Welfare Dept's employee named Raj Kumar whose friend Chandan Sukla Das is running the whole chain of admission scam, alleged Pradip Das. TIWN talked to the victim family members and took details about the situation and also contacted the Govt official Raj Kumar against whom charges were brought. Victim’s father Pradip Das said, “I had been cheated by SC Welfare Dept when I went to them for suggesting me about my daughter’s admission in Nursing College. It was one official of SC Welfare Dept Raj Kumar who arranged a meeting with Chandan Sukla Das, who is the actual broker of the admission-chain".

"Chandan behaved with us very nicely and took my daughter for admission at Bengalore on August 28 and told me some amounts will be needed for her study”, the helpless father added.

“My daughter was said to receive a scholarship and in 1st year Rs. 40 thousand was asked, whereas 2nd and 3rd year consequently Rs. 20,000 was demanded each year. But after reaching at Bengalore with my daughter, he (broker Chandan) said that the Bengalore College doesn’t have affiliation and asked me to make my daughter’s admission at Hyderabad. I told him I don’t know where is Hyderabad and so you take the decision for my daughter”.

“After settling at Hyderabad nothing was going good with her. A small room was given on the top floor with many students amidst high temperature. At toilet she has to take bath, food is bad, her money was finished, from ground floor water had to carry”, said Pradip Das.

“However, now I am going to file a case in my local PS and to bring back my daughter. Class-12 admit card, marksheet all have been taken by Chandan. We are even unable to talk to our daughter and much scared about her safety”, said the father.

The College has been identified as Sri Venkateshwara School of Nursing at Hyderabad. At 40 % marks such colleges are giving admissions but the students’ future go to dustbin and often their lives come under danger. the victim Beauty Rani Das belongs to a BPL/ SC family who has been cheated by broker Chandan Sukla Das, after SC Welfare Official Raj Kumar arranged the meeting about admission among Chandan and Beauty's family members.

TIWN called  SC Welfare Dept’s official Raj Kumar after the press conference was over but he said, “My son also studies outside but it’s parents duty to identify the Colleges’ quality” !

Question raises, how a poor BJP family man can identify the College’s quality for his daughter when Govt officials are introducing brokers to the family members ?
