“We need around 40,000 units of blood. We felt the need for blood during Covid and the people of Tripura have been always so helpful in this drive. When we appealed for blood donation, so many people during Covid crisis, came forward to donate blood,” said Dr Saha.

"A single person can save four people due to blood separation technique," said CM.

“We can transplant the heart, dialysis can save kidney patients but there is no alternative than blood. So, I appeal to the people to come forward to donate blood,” said CM Dr Manik Saha.
