AGARTALA, Oct 7 (TIWN): From 10323 case to Santanu murder case, Tripura BJP has been failed to create pressure on the state govt, as neither it could convince the Central Govt to intervene in state issues nor the LF Govt bothered to reply BJP's demands. Even at West Bengal also Governor K N Tripathi warned Mamata Banerjee for increasing attacks upon the opposition activists, but in case of Tripura amidst massive scams from chit fund to 10323 case, BJP could't do anything against the state govt although only 4 months have left for the election.

The Union Home Ministry has sought a report from the Karnataka government on the killing of journalist Gauri Lankesh in Bengaluru.

The move came after Home Minister Rajnath Singh directed Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba to get a report from the state government and also Rajnath Singh personally asked about the progress of the case to the Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah.

The Karnataka government has been asked to provide details of the incident and the steps taken to nab those involved in the killing, but here BJP although demanded for CBI intervene in Sananu murder case, but the demand has been limited with effigy burning of the Chief Minister.

Even after 2 deaths in a single day, around 100 people's injury, 7 vehicle burnings and 5 days of internet suspension BJP couldn't appeal the centre about the serious conditions of Tripura ADC areas.

Jiban Debnath is missing from 16 days, but Tripura police is unable to find out his dead body even.

In case of 10323 also state BJP under the leadership of state president Biplab Deb had claimed to file a case against the state govt, but again BJP's role as the opposition remained failure.

But unfortunately,  like every cases BJP here also remained failure to disclose GMP leaders names involved in the clash. Moreover, CPI-M has directly blames BJP behind the ongoing clashes.

On Sep-20, a brutal attack had killed Tripura young journalist Santanu Bhowmik. Resident of Jirania, the young journalist was associated with various electronic media who has been killed while covering IPFT and CPI-M clash at Mandai.

The barbaric murder has taken place on Wednesday afternoon when after getting informed about an ongoing tension on that hilly zone, Santanu rushed to Mandai to cover the incident. But, while covering the event suddenly an attack was held upon him with sharp weapons (Da) and continuously the attackers were injuring him.

Tripura CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar on Friday said that N C Debbarma led IPFT had kidnapped Jiban Debnath on Sep 20 at Khumlwng.  Bijan Dhar clealy said, "Those who are demanding CBI probe are the actual killer of Santanu". On the other side only 3 persons were arrested in Santanu murder case till day whether BJP leader Subol Bhowmik during press conference after Santanu murder said, "We have all sources and we know many things about Santanu's death".
