AGARTALA, Sep 22 (TIWN): Tripura BJP has slammed the CPI-M Govt for permitting the IPFT cadres to block National Highway, Railway for long 10 days from July 10, 2017. 'Such inspirations to the IPFT and then for long 10 days not implementing Section-144 at Baramura was the source of IPFT's increasing dare. CPI-M always trigger such violence for vote banks ahead of election. In the plain area CPI-M uses the Hindu / Muslim sentiments and on hills tribal / bengali clashes are being instigated by CPI-M', BJP leader Subol Bhowmik said. MLA Asish Saha said, "The divide and rule policy of CPI-M is nothing new. Whenever opposition is strong, such clashes emerge ahead of election. CM Manik Sarkar always through his speech tries to trigger violence, hatred. Whenever he speaks on a sensitive issue the violence begins".
"Santanu's murder was a pre-planned and when such a tension situation was going on why instead of calling Kokbrok-Tripura channel based journalists Santanu was alone called ? Section 144 was already in action yesterday. Then how was he killed with sharp weapons before everyone ? This was a pre-planned cold blooded murder" said Subol Bhowmik.
BJP has demanded CBI investigation into the case. Eventhough around 300 people were present on the spot but only 2 persons were arrested (Bikash Debbarma and Shyamal Debbarma) who have been sent for police remand of 14 days.
But till latenight no case was registered in Mandai PS whether after 2 hours of attack on journalist Santanu, he was brought to the hospital.
Question raising how in front of police, BSF such a murder took place ?
Moreover, CPI-M instead of calling a ban to IPFT till now busy to link IPFT with BJP to prove BJP as ultimate responsible behind the clash.
Noteworthy, BJP has accused CPI-M for being failed to control violence although the state administration, police are in their hands. If CPI-M had no intension to victimize a journalist for sympathy, why it never voiced for banning IPFT ?
