AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): Tripura’s pride, the first Express train that was inaugurated by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu in 2016, July 31st has been totally burnt to ashes on Friday night in a mob-violence at Haryana. There were 15 to 16 person involved in this act, a report from Anand Vihar said. Two train bogies of the Delhi-Agartala Express were set on fire by Dera Followers. Atleast 2 of the bogies have been completely vandalized. Fortunately there were no passenger sat inside the train led no causalities. Due to the suspension of the train service in Northeast for flood there were luckily no passenger inside the train. Not only Tripura Sundari express but many trains saw similar results due to the ‘Bhaktas’ of the Rapist RammRahim. Hariyana Govt’s failure led the tragic incident and also killed 30 people at there.

Haryana DGP B.S. Sandhu on however Friday evening said that situation in Panchkula town is "totally under control" and that rioters have been pushed out of the town.

The DGP said that 550 Dera Sacha Sauda supporters had been detained and 65 vehicles confiscated. Three rifles and three pistols were also seized from the rioters, he said. According to Sandhu, around 60 policemen have also received injuries in the clashes. He said there was some tension in Sirsa but the situation was clam. 

The Dera Sacha Sauda headquarters is located in Sirsa, around 250 km from Panchkula, where a court held the sect chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh guilty of rape and sexual exploitation.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday admitted lapses in security arrangements following a verdict against Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, but later said that no advance action was taken as it could have created bigger problems.

Talking to reporters on Friday evening, after around 30 people were killed in violence following the Dera Sacha Sauda chief being convicted for rape, Khattar, admitting to mistakes, said: "We are identifying the lapses."
