AGARTALA, Aug 25 (TIWN): Instead of following the guidelines prescribed by MHRD, Tripura Govt is pushing TGTA to walk on Agartala streets and to raise voice against the BJP led central govt. But is it 'Not' time for fight or political blame-games, when 15th Sept 2017 is the last date of taking admission of the teachers.

In the letter the Central Govt has clearly said the following routine that can be understood even a class-5 student, whereas unfortunately Tripura Govt hide the letter above 20 days.

The some of the guidelines are : “By 10th Aug nodal officers should be appointed by all State and UT and NIOS (NIOS already appointed state-wise nodal officers as per the letter of the central govt. The advertisement publication date was from Aug-1 to Aug-14. On Aug-16 workshop was scheduled to be held by NIOS in every states to aware the teachers that if they do not complete the gaps in their qualification then their jobs will be terminated on April 1st, 2019. By 20th Aug the state govts have to submit the details about the unqualified teachers. From Aug 16 to Sept 15 the admission to be continued”.

But Tripura Govt just remained silent over the letter that led massive confusion in later times when the issue was disclosed by media.

Moreover, after 21 days of MHRD's letter, CPI-M backed HAGABA said that asking Teachers qualification within 2 years is 'inhuman'.

In this regard opposition BJP spokesperson Ashok Sinha said, “The intention of the state govt is really tough to understand. But teachers must recognize the risks and take admission as after 2019 there will be no way left except losing their jobs”.

Under Monmohon Singh as the PM the 2009's RTE Act rules were adapted saying all the teachers must have necessary qualifications with 50 % marks in Class-12 and DEIED degree for all primary / upper primary teachers by 2015. With the deadline had ended in 2015, the BJP led Central Govt has once again given relaxation for more 2 years after a bill was unanimously passed on Aug 1. Tripura Govt had received a letter on Aug-3 regarding this. But with a strange motive state govt hided the notification.
