AGARTALA, July 19 (TIWN): After IPFT Youths have shown a demo of committing suicide, a tension has gripped the common people as well as the tribal community but after such a demo shown by IPFT youths, the Chief of that party remained silent.
Suicide demo is not only a negative display of minds, but also no parent, no well wisher will like to see such a pathetic display of committing suicide of their close person.
But suddenly emerged excessive sentiments for Tipraland has finally raised question, why the demand has expanded to suicide level just ahead of 2018-Election ?
If a boy commits suicide then who will be responsible for it ? Question doesn’t arise that people will blame N C Debbarma as it will hit the IPFTs tribal sentiment. Reportedly, N C Debbarma did not clarified about the demo shown by the boys, neither he repented over the issue.
Tension has gripped across Tripura, as IPFT via a demo has warned to commit suicide one by one, if their demands are not fulfilled.
In this situation state govt has dumped all the responsibilities on the Central govt and talked to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in this regard. CM also told Rajnath Singh to take his best decision.
When asked by BJP here, Rajnath Singh said, “I just heard what the Chief Minister said, but I didn’t agree with what he said”.
According to BJP, law and order comes under the state govt. So it’s state govt’s duty to control the tension there. If Central govt has to intervene then President's rule is needed.
In this regard BJP leaders met the Governor and asked him to discuss the issue with centre. Same, way, the Presidential rule concept has triggered tension in CPI-M party offices.
