AGARTALA, July 18 (TIWN): Citing an example of heating-blockade first ever by any Tripura opposition party, BJP has sat in protest, blocking CM's movement totally. BJP agitators are unready to move from the spot until the emergency situation aroused in Tripura due to IPFT blockade is not get an end. Addressing the BJP agitators, Tripura BJP State Observer, Sunil Deodhar said, "BJP was silent for many days, but after 7 days had gone, it was unbearable to tolerate the blockade over the national highway. Due to the ruling party's silence and IPFT's blockade health service downed, public's transports, children's education collapsed. Then we gave 48 hours time to Manik Sarkar to withdraw the blockade. However whatever he did in last 48 hours due to BJP's warning Manik Sarkar didn't do in his last 19 year under communist leadership". "But when 38 people of Tripura are suffering and from education to all have been collapsed then BJP gave the Tripura Govt a deadline of 48 hours", Deodhar said. The BJP leader also demanded that President's rule should be imposed in Tripura.

Comparing with Bhasmasura, Deodhar says, "IPFT has turned Bhasmasura for Manik Sarkar who was blessed by Shiva with powers and then Shiva was on the verge of destruction due to Bhasmasura's blessed-power".

Hitting on CPI-M/ IPFT nexus, Deodhar said, "Communist Govt is under heavy trouble due to the blockade, which was inspired by the left front govt. Tripura Govt told the IPFTs to block the Highway, Railway with supplying them free food. State Govt also assured them that no action will be taken against them, neither the govt will try to end the blockade in demand of Tipraland. The prove is since 7 days illegally IPFT has blocked national highway, railway without permission but police under the home minister who is Manik Sarkar himself is not taking action against that crime".

Noteworthy : In Hindu mythology, Bhasmasura Praveen or Bhasmasur Praveen was an asura or demon who was granted the power to burn up and immediately turn into ashes anyone whose head he touched with his hand. Bhasmasura was a devotee of the god Shiva who performed great penance to obtain a boon from the deity. Shiva became pleased and asked him to ask for a boon. Bhasmasura then asked that he be granted the power that anyone whose head he touched with his hand should burn up and immediately turn into ashes (bhasma). Shiva granted this request, but Bhasmasura thereupon attempted to touch the head of Shiva with his hand because he saw Parvati and wanted to possess her, which would only be possible when he turned Shiva into ashes. Shiva fled, and was chased by Bhasmasura. Wherever Shiva went, Bhasmasura chased him. Somehow, Shiva managed to reach Vishnu to seek a solution to this predicament. Vishnu on hearing Shiva's problem, agreed to help him out.
