AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): Tripura's 8 lakhs unemployed youths have not emerged suddenly, but the number is increasing logically per year. Talking in talk-show at PB24 Tripura Infoway Editor Saumen Sarkar at Agartala said, "When people are voting you and making you the govt, then you also have certain responsibilities to the society. In Tripura the unemployment is a burning issue burdened the state with 8 lakhs of unemployed youths". "Due to lack of planning and vision of the Govt here the issue has remained just unsolved. Govt should do full preparation for coming years so that it can tackle the increasing number of unemployed youths per year. For example if this is year 1980 and there are 50,000 unemployed youths along with thousands of students who are studying in various colleges of the state...after certain years the number of unemployed youths will be surely increased more, but where they will go ?

What Govt is planning day to day for the increasing number of passing out students; the planning should be more clear indeed", said Sarkar. "For the future you have to build plans before 10 years. Indian Govt, American Govt all have 5 years plan, 10 years plan...... for what those are ? Such plans are to fulfill the visions of the Govt", said Sarkar.

"Model states always invite, create various private companies, so that the students immediately after passing out can enter in companies as trainees thorugh which they can enter in the Employed-world. As a leader of the state you have to keep those targets".

"The main problem of Tripura is that the every Govts ruled in Tripura never had exposed to the outer industrial world resulting people to depend only on Govt Jobs. Tripura has huge opportunity for industry", said Sarkar.

"Before a year I gave a proposal to the Govt of Tripura to create satellite office with the help of Central Govt in a PPP model. Such offices work to employ the passed out students", said Sarkar.

"You will not trust that I found many times at Ginger hotel various fraud colleges' representatives are residing in state and looting the guardians and then after passing out no company is giving them jobs. This is due to lack of vision of the Govt; as well as planning that is missing over all", said Sarkar.

PB24 anchor Prasenjit Saha asked Sarkar further that Tripura Govt is opposed to privatization. In this condition what the unemployed youth will do ?

"Thes 8 lakhs of unemployed youths are result sof many years which happened at West Bengal too. How many times Tripura Govt went to  invite industrialists to invest for Tripura ? In 2015 Tripurainfoway did an IT conclave where foreign delegates participated. When we did this for the state with our money, but Tripura Govt's response was zero.......When other countries delegates were there, Tripura IT Minister eventhough was invited many times but he didn't come", said Sarkar.

"I think this is due to ignorance about IT. May be our state rulers are expert in other things, but in this particular field they lack coordination, knowledge", said Sarkar.

Pinching the system further Saumen Sarkar said, "If our rulers are not much educated and policies are made by someone like Lalu, then what can we expect more?"
