AGARTALA, May 5 (TIWN): Family is forced to survive under open sky in Charilam after a heavy storm and hailstorm damaged their home. Many houses in the area have been affected due to the weather calamities. The incident happened in Rangmala village, Ward No-2, Sharat Chowdhury Para. House owner Bijoy Debbarma expressed resentment over government government-appointed the local administration’s neglected role to his family. Talking to the media, Debbarma said, “I lost almost everything. Yesterday, I lived in a neighbor’s house’s courtyard. I request the government to help me to fix the home.”
The scenario appeared very risky in the home as children were also forced to survive under the sky. The people can not leave their homes too because of increasing theft cases there.
“So many people get government help, but I never got it. I beg to the government to look after us,” added Debbarma.
Storms are causing havocs across Tripura. Houses, public properties, forests have been affected due to the extreme weather situation.
