AGARTALA, May 17 (TIWN): A Photograph & Slogan Competition will be conducted by 'Centre for Forest-based Livelihoods & Extension' under Ministry of Forestry Research and Education on ‘World Environment Day’ (5th June, 2017).
The themes of the photograph competition are – i) Reduce, reuse, recycle for better tomorrow ii) Urban greening iii) Water conservation and iv) Wildlife protection and the theme for Slogan is ’Connecting People to Nature’ (up to 25 words). Therefore good quality color photographs prints (8x10 inch portrait or 12x15 inch landscape) accompanied by a brief note of not more than 100 words about the photograph and slogans (not more than 25 words) may be submitted to the undersigned on or before 22nd May, 2017 for onward transmission to Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun.
As per the guideline it's mandatory that photographs must be in original and should not be submitted earlier for any competition.
Top five photographs and slogans will be selected for prizes at CFLE level and same will be sent to National Level Competition to be held at Forest Research Institute, Dehradun.
Winners will be awarded on 5th June, 2017 at Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. All students, youths and people of all walks of life in the society can participate in the competition.
The copies of all the entries received at CFLE shall also be displayed at CFLE during the World Environment Day event in Agartala during 4th - 5th June, 2017.
