AGARTALA, May 10 (TIWN): Tripura Election battle finally kicked off following BJP National President Amit Shah's 2 day long visit in Tripura that shaken Melarmath party office heavily. Whereas other oppositions Congress, Trinamool have been sidelined, BJP emerged as the major threat for 24 years long ruling CPI-M in Election-2018. On May 7, on Amit Shah's visit thousands of bikers welcomed Shah as their pre-poll guide whereas CPI-M on Wednesday after 3 day of Shah's visit also conducted a similar rally that roamed around the whole Agartala City to propagate CPI-M with atleast thousands of bikers there too. On the other hand BJP is busy to conduct Swachh Bharat Mission in various wards of the state. After 25 years of constant ruling in 2018 without any strong competitor, CPI-M will face a tought fight against BJP which was never imagined before 3 years also. But under Modi, Amit Shah BJP got a major boost in state drawing a mass number of opposition MLAs to join BJP.

Both BJP and CPI-M's top most leaders now are focused on booth level propaganda across Tripura. Biplab Deb, BJP state President also held joining of  around 700 voters in BJP on Tuesday afternoon.

Amit Shah is his two day long visit at Tripura told media that the battle ground of Tripura will not be much tough in compare to other challenging states. Replying media queries, with a confident smile, Shah said, "We  are much assured that we do not need any alliance to win Tripura which is ruled by Communists. Communists have been abandoned worldwide and study says that people in Tripura are fed up with Communist Govt and BJP Govt is the only reliance left to them which is an uncorrupted party even after 3 years of ruling at Centre".

Earlier elections were easily won by CPI-M due to Congress's inactive participation.

Two veteran politicians joined BJP recently (April-24), saying that it's only BJP which can unseat CPI-M from power and make a new Govt here. Giving a surprise to the Trianmool party members, Prakash Das and Manoj Das who had joined BJP, were the Trinamool candidates in last bi-election for Barjala and Khowai respectively. Trinamool candidate Manoj Das's votebank reportedly was much higher than BJP at Khowai, whereas Prakash Das was 3rd after CPI-M and BJP in the bi-election poll result for Barjala constituency. Prakash Das said while joining BJP, "Congress's protest against CPI-M is 'Duplicate' & Trinamool is 'Impossible' in Tripura" and BJP is the only party that can alter CPI-M.

However, after a long time Tripura is witnessing a tough battle that may bring massive political changes and  retire the Communists forever, like West Bengal.
