AGARTALA, Feb 22 (TIWN): "Before oppositions alleges the party will raise voice for development...", this has become the new key of propaganda for CPI-M.

Either its DA or any development, it has been seen that just to avoid oppositions’ allegation the ruling party is protesting for people’s right; where the people who can solve all the problem are sitting silently at Secretariat.

Same happened at Kailashahar when CPI-M raised voice regarding a renovation of a hanging bridge.

Reportedly, over river Manu a hanging bridge was constructed under RD Dept. Minister Tapan Chakraborty in 2013 had laid the foundation stone of the bridge. The project cost was Rs. 3 crores.

But the quality of the work was so down to the mark that before one year the bridge was fully collapsed.

During the construction, the District Magistrate was Abhishek Chanda. However, neither any inquiry was done against it nor the Govt attempted to renovate it.

Not only this, the iron and various materials which are now left under water is getting rusted day by day; whereas the value of those items till day will be atleast lakh.

On Wednesday, Kishan Shabha led by CPI-M held mass demonstration at there demanding faster recovery of the bridge.

A source said that local people and the farmers at Bilashpur and Dulugao were fully dependent on the bridge-way to reach Jailai-Bazaar where big vegetable market is set. Thus before any  opposition party raises voice, CPI-M has completed the drama demanding the renovation of the hanging-bridge.
