AGARTALA / DHARMANAGAR, Oct 23 (TIWN): BSF Jawans maintain tight security along Border areas for 24 hours dedicatedly where dedication and discipline rules the roost. In comparison, State Police even though filled with good officers & dedicated TSR Jawans but fail to act in most cases due to CPI-M’s Political interference and lack of leadership by corrupt DGP (CBI charge-sheeted IPS officer K.Nagraj). TIWN Dharmanagar Correspondent undertaken a drive to find out the root cause of BSF’s dynamic action in comparison to State Police’s lameduck performance. A normal civilian if spends a day disciplined BSF, then only he / she can understand what is the difference between a normal person who sleeps at night but a BSF Jawan lives with passion, discipline and dedication. BSF’s continuous trainings , practice, hard life style, discipline, surgical strikes would not be possible also for a police personnel in India, that differentiates BSF from Police. TIWN correspondent, photographer covered a 24 hour's time-line interview with BSF 159th Bn at North Tripura border to record the tough lives of the Jawans in India. The drug trafficking mainly occurring using roadmaps of North Tripura and many illegal items are entering due to the loose security led by Tripura police, reported TIWN.

BSF 159th Bn has challenged all kinds of drug trafficking, illegal intrusion via border at North Tripura.

Amidst all these BSF has successfully nabbed many culprits from train, vehicles with drugs, cannabis etc.

In night duty ahead of Kali Puja and especially after following episodes of border violence at J&K, BSF 159 Bn led by L S Dhaiya were found on Saturday hardly with 3 hours sleep. He checks every border zones security every night & anytime, said a Jawan to TIWN on Sunday.

TIWN reported, there is no chances of "looseness" in their works as morning training to daylong works are going on in full wave at North Tripura BSF capms. Trainings are giving on how to do surgical strike, within a short time how to help the injured their Jawan friends, how to solve border problems.

With the activity of BSF 159th Btln locals are happy as many crimes are reducting at North Tripura due to BSF’s seriousness against crimes. In a successive attempt, BSF 159th btn on July 7 evening recovered 1 kilo and 365 gram of Brown Sugar from Silchar-Agartala train.In the month of October BSF 159th Btn recovered 500 kilos Ganjas from a Truck which was going from Agartala to Guwahati. BSF 159th Btn. also nabbed the driver and his vehicle from Panisagar Selothi area.

For such dedication---- the training, discipline which are essential part of Brave-soldiers lives boosted up by dedicated commandants across India.

All selected personnel for BSF have to undergo basic training which is followed by training in operational subjects for working in border areas. The men of the BSF are trained in patrolling the borders be it on camel back, horse back, on foot, on speed boats or on helicopters. 

However, TIWN reported such trainings are operations are done troughout the whole year in Tripura BSF camps, after interviewing the jawans, commandant L S Dhaiya, he (TIWN Correspondent) said from North Border BOPs.
