AGARTALA, Oct 2 (TIWN): After one Rajendra Reang (20) was nabbed by 30th Assam Rifles Btln on Sep 26 from North Tripura, with one SBBL gun with 5 live rounds, with another successive drive Assam Rifles 30th Btln & Haliakandi police caught the one of the most wanted Terrorists named Dhancharai Reang (46) S/O-Kumar Rai Reang, resident of Damchara Hailakand . He joined in United Democratic Liberation Army (UDLA), in 2008 and in 2014 in Bru and he was most wanted criminal whom Damchara Police was trying to nab. He was actively involve to kidap Ali Mazumder from Damchara. Sources said that lot of information have been gathered from Dhancharai Reang. Another terrorist was nabbed from a border area at Hailagandi, a village in Tripura-Mizoram border, alongwith SBBL gun & live 5 rounds.Sources said that Rajesh Charkhi is controlling all the terrorists from Barak Valley & taking the opportunity of free entry to Tripura via Longai river, turned North Tripura as a terrorist-zone.

Various Bru militants were nabbed by BSF Jawans, Assam Rifles for multiple times. Moreover,  Bru refugees’ 20 years long residing over Tripura has well connected that terror group with Tripura.

On April 22, two bru terrorist Chief leaders were nabbed by Assam Rifles No-30 btln and Karignaj police named Arnajoy Reang (29) &Dailoram Reang (36). (They were among the head of the terrorist group) Arnajoy Reang was the General Secretary of the Bru-terrorist Group, resident of Ashapara Kanchanpur Refugee camp Tripura, and Dailoram Reang is recognized as the commandant of Katar, area at Dhali Dist. After nabbing them the chief leader’s name has been gathered by police as Rajesh Chorkhi (President, Resident of Mizoram) led by L V Charki.

Around 60 Mizo-Tripura terrorists’ names exposed from them,  also the blueprint of the terror-plan was recovered by Police. In the month of June another Bru terrorist was arrested. Surprisingly in July 1st, Assam Rifles 30th Btn nabbed 3 Bru terrorists from Kalachara, North Tripura. Along with Terrorists, smugglers equally from that groups have been identified from time to time.

In coming days Northeast India may witness massive damages by terror attacks, as already Terror Training centres have been groomed in many parts of Northeast. But Manik Sarkar who ended by claiming that Tripura is a peaceful state, is not at all concerned about the safety of his people. His only concern is his position as Chief Minister !

North Tripura’s Longai river in Damchara area is acting as the  open corridor for NE Terrorists’ regular influx and also for the smugglers from Mizoram and Assam. This Longai river is the main-way which lead outsiders to Tripura land, without any inner permission.

For Tripura citizens, atleast 3 Northeastern States ask for inner line permits in border check posts, but unfortunately Tripura although many times were attacked by Mizo, Bru terrorists but no steps for security is taken by the state Govt. Also there is no check-post set up yet at Damchara.

However, this is nothing but an example of Manik Sarkar’s administration, also reflects Chief Minister’s lack of interest for the security of the state.
