KAMALPUR, Sep 6 (TIWN): The political power grouping of CPI-M came forward here at Kamalpur during the observation of 55th Teachers’ Day celebration at Kamalpur.
And it became so as the all powerful party Secretary cum MLA Anjan Das skipped the governmental program along with SDM. Both of them joined a separate programme in the evening organized by a local club which presently became quite close to the party and especially to the party Secretary.
It became a popular matter of discuss after Anjan Das became the CPI-M divisional secretary that, in the 2018 election, the incumbent MLA from 45 Kamalpur Mrs. Bijoy Lakshmi Sinha might not get the nomination.
Moreover, a tension found to be grown among the party Secretary and the incumbent Nagar Panchayat Chairperson. The party machinery, however, used to deny the fact and termed it a gossip created by media. But yesterday, the fact became revealed.
The government program as organized by Education Inspectorate was held in the Nazrul Bhavan. Though invited, the party Secretary cum MLA Anjan Das skipped the program. The SDM also followed him. As a result, MLA Bijoy Lakshmi Sinha and the Chairperson Subrata Bhattacharjee remained the main personalities of that program.
In the evening, a local club Youth Recreation Corner organized the celebration of Teachers’ Day. In that program, both the MLA Anjan Das and the SDM Subhasis Das were found. And like the governmental program, 12 teachers were felicitated in that program too.
This created much controversy about the role of the party leaders and the administrative officials at Kamalpur.
