AGARTALA, June 2 (TIWN): With the petrol and diesel prices have gone high, there is no more ‘Petrol-Crisis’ prevails in the state.
But whenever petrol price downs little the petrol pumps dried up across the state, which causes only misery for the vehicle users.
Allegations are coming that since many days, that there is a kind of black marketing of petrol-business, which are feeding a section of unauthentic group of dealers.
After May 17, Petrol price was again hiked by Rs.2.58 a litre and diesel by Rs.2.26 per litre on June 1.
Now the petrol will cost Rs.65.60 per litre after the increase while diesel will cost Rs.53.93 a litre.
However since May 17, surprisingly the fuel-scarcity went down in Tripura.
But the day the price goes up, the petrol vanishes from the pump and but it remains available in black market, which visibles the existence of mutual helpline between petrol dealers and black marketers.
During petrol crisis time, the dealers show various kinds of excuses as National Highway’s pathetic condition, rail-service disruption to cause the crisis, but surprisingly even after the 15 days road-blockade over NH-44, the petrol is available in market.
