AGARTALA, April 8 (TIWN): Reacting over the sudden submission of resignation from three party members, PCC President Birajit Sinha on Friday calls for immediate meeting at Congress Bhawan.

It is to be mentioned here that former Opposition leader Sudip Roy Barman has placed his resignation letter and declared that she is quitting the congress part.

On the last day of the Budget Session of the Tripura Assembly, Sudip Roy Barman placed resignation letter to the speaker of the Tripura Assembly Ramendra Chandra Debnath.

Besides, barman has also forwarded a copy of resignation letter to President of the Indian National Congress party Sonia Gandhi.

Expressing despair over the alliance of Congress and CPI-M, Barman stated that he is unhappy with the alliance.

He further mentioned that CPI-M has been treating badly over West Bengal, Kerela and Tripura.

In his resignation letter, Barman mentioned about the depression he has been facing to find drastic change in the party policy of Congress.

He also expressed his failure in understanding the need of sudden alliance with the left parties in the West Bengal assembly elections.

Besides, he also mentioned about the party facing accusation of adopting double standard in the party.

Yet on another shocking note, MLA cum working president of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee Ashish kumar Saha and President of Tripura Pradesh Youth congress Sushanta Chowdhury on Friday announced about their resign from the post.

However, it is a tough time for the Tripura Pradesh Congress party to deal with. Now with the sudden split in the party leads the opposition to cripple down. It is to be mentioned here that with the opposition breaking down, ruling party will gain huge benefit.
