AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): Tripura Government Ayurvedic Doctor’s Association on Sunday organized a two-day long 10th Biennial State Conference at TB Association Hall.
During the programme, the members of the Association demanded to implement the Tripura health service rule as soon as possible. With an aim to take the Ayurvedic treatment at the door step of the common mass, the association has urged to create atleast 100 vacancies for the Ayurvedic Medical officers.
They also urged to take initiatives to appoint Medical officers trough TPSC exam, to implement a proper pay structure for the doctors of the State NHM, RBSK and Integrate Ayush Hospital, to provide all kind of facilities to the doctors of State NHM, RBSK and Integrate Ayush Hospital like any other state Government employees.
Further, the association also stressed to regularise the doctors under the NHM, RBSK and Integrate Ayush Hospital scheme for the better treatment of the people. Besides, they also urged for immediate instalment of X-ray machine and Pathology unit in all the Government hospitals.
They further demanded to create State Ayush Directorate following the guidelines of the Central government, to commence Tripura Ayurved Council. Besides, they also demanded for establish a Tripura Ayurved Medical college and a Hospital and to resume the Tripura Ayurved Diploma Pharmacy.
According to Ayurvedic theory, everything in the universe living or not is connected. Good health is achieved when your mind, body, and spirit are in harmony with the universe. A disruption of this harmony can lead to poor health and sickness.
At the programme, the association has donated fund to the Chief Minister Relief Fund. The first day programme is going to observe two sessions. The second session is going to be inaugurated by Dr. Shyamal Deb.
During the programme, Tripura’s Health Minister Badal Choudhury has inaugurated the programme in the presence of Chief Executive Member of TTAADC Radha Charan Debbarma, members of TGADA and others.
