Budget Session of Tripura Assembly: Demands raised to regularise the teachers under Sarba Shiksha Abhiyan Scheme

AGARTALA, March 18 (TIWN): While the Budget Session of the Tripura Assembly witnessed several question hour sessions on Friday, MLA Ratan Das demanded to take immediate initiatives to facilitate the farmers of the state.

Therefore, MLA Ratan Das announced that Tripura Assembly demanded Prime Minister to provide keen eyes on the state.

Besides, MLA Diba Chandra Hrangkhawl demanded to take initiatives to regularise the teachers under the Sarba Shiksha Abhiyan Scheme in the State.

On the first day of the Budget Session of Tripura Assembly, Minister Tapan Chakraborty has given the responsibility of the Finance Department to place the much awaited budget.

As ailing Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha is now in Delhi for necessary medical test at AIIMS, Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty has tabled the budget session for the financial year 2016-2017.

The five-day long budget session is expected to continue till April 7.

It is to be mentioned here that as per the restriction imposed during the Assembly hours, no movement of any vehicles will be allowed at the premises of Tripura Assembly.

Besides, on the movement of members, staffs and audiences will be allowed in the assembly premises for security reason during the budget session of the assembly.

Further, if any interested people including the media are willing to enter the restricted premises, they have to show their ID proof or Assembly pass.

However, the first day of the budget session was peaceful, no reports of any untoward incident has been reported.
