AGARTALA, March 11 (TIWN): CM Manik Sarkar on Friday along with SDM Manik lal Das, West SP and other inspected the recruitment process of the Army recruitment rally held at Badarghat stadium.
Hundreds of youth appeared at the Badarghat stadium, where Army conducted first phase of recruitment rally for the candidates from Tripura into Indian Army.
With the aim to join army a total of 1200 youths will participated in the rally. Keeping the words of CM Manik Sarkar for opening opportunities to the youth of Tripura to get enrolled in the army, a three day long army recruitment rally is organised in the state.
This time preference would be given to the youths of Tripura however, youths from Assam, Silchar will also participate in the rally.
The second day rally was flagged off by CM Manik Sarkar and the first day rally was flagged off by Director of the board of recruitment CS Bhandari.
It is to be mentioned here that those who will qualify the written exams well as the physical test they will get job in the army. There is no assurance how many will be given jobs from this sections.
However, in the last year 120 people were given jobs in the army. It is expected that more number of candidates will get job this year.

The units and regiments of the Indian Army have diverse histories and have participated in a number of battles and campaigns across the world, earning a large number of battle and theatre honours before and after Independence.
