Sabroom/Belonia, March 7 (TIWN):Many houses collapsed and over 200 people were displaced from homes after a cyclone, accompanied by hail storms, lashed South district of Tripura, official sources said.Many are injured at Barpathari village in South Tripura district .The cow was also killed.

At least 50 houses collapsed due to the rain and storm during the last night the sources said adding chances of heavy crop loss was imminent.

Many people are homeless in Belonia/Sabroom subdivision  South district and took shelter in government buildings, the sources said.
