CPM declared the name of candidates for ADC village election

UDAIPUR, Jan 25 (TIWN): Keeping eye on the upcoming election, CPM on Sunday declared the list of candidates of Thirty-Three ADC villages under Udaipur sub-division at the Udaipur party office.

Reportedly, a total of 249 names of candidates have been declared. Among them the 249 candidates, 105 are female and rest are male.

However, this election mostly new faces are being chosen by the party. It has been mentioned that among the listed number of candidates, 227 are new faces and 22 are old.

However, during the programme, Secretary of Udaipur Sub-Division Manik Biswas, CPM District Committee Secretary cum MLA Madhab Saha and others were also present.

It has been mentioned that list of candidates of 40 nominees of Amarpur under Gomati District will also be declared.

Besides, on January 22 candidates of 30 ADC villages have been declared.

Besides, preparations for the selection of the candidates are going on.

Besides, the other political parties are also gearing up for the upcoming village committee election.

Parties are holding meeting in the various interior parts of the state with an aim to grab the seats in the upcoming election. It is to be mentioned Left Front Party has begin their campaigning for the village election long back.   

However, it is to be mentioned here that the left front party has already declared the candidates for the village committee election.

However, for the Amarpur bi-election Candidate selection is the process by which political parties decide who will be on the ballot paper as their recommended candidate. The way in which they make that choice is mainly determined by their own internal rules and procedures.

The Commission has decided that the voter’s identification shall be mandatory in the aforementioned bi- elections at the time of poll.

However, the Commission has decided to use EVMs in the Amarpur bi-election in all the polling stations of the State. Adequate numbers of EVMs have been made available and all steps have been taken to ensure that the polls are conducted smoothly with the help of these machines.
