AGARTALA, Jan 15 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Friday visited the construction site of the Town Hall which is under renovation over past few days. ‘
CM Manik Sarkar accompanied by site engineer on Friday visited the site and monitored the work progress.
After the visit, CM directed to the officials to complete the construction of town hall with in the given deadline.
While giving a visit CM directed them to finish the construction as early as possible by this year.
He also commanded to maintain the quality of construction.
Later, the chief minister expressed his satisfaction about the progress of the construction. During the visit, the engineers assured that entire construction except painting of the building would be finished by the March.
After finishing the monitoring work, CM Manik Sarkar personally said to the engineers to maintain the quality of the work and all the materials should be of fine quality. There should not be any compromise with the quality of the work.
The interior should be paid much importance along with the exterior should also look eye soothing said CM Manik Sarkar the engineers.
However, winding up the visit he expressed satisfaction over the work progress and asked the engineers to finish the work in the given time.
