KALYANPUR, Jan 14 (TIWN): On Thursday road-week has been observed at Kalyanpur with the collaboration between Kalyanpur PS & Kalyanpur Block Administration.
The programme was held at Kalyanpur Block’s Auditorium.
Mainly Motor Union members were present during the programme. The programme has been observed via a day-long seminar.
However, during the programmme dignitaries as O/C Shanti Bhushan, BDO Subha Gupta were present.
The main things had been discussed during the programme were :
- To drive in control speed,
- As high speed kills lives, so saving lives would be the motto of the drivers through slow driving,
- Not to make any vehicle over-loaded as it increases risks of accidents,
- Helmet is must while driving bikes.
It’s to be mentioned here the Road safety week has been celebrated with the great joy and enthusiasm in all over India at many places such as Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Baroda, Vadodara, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and North East India.
People are encouraged about how to drive on road by organizing variety of programmes related to the road safety.
