AGARTALA, Jan 13 (TIWN): Addressing the press meet on Wednesday at BJP state office located at Krishnanagar Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha said that Tripura will be able to avail the facility of the BG passenger train service by the end of February.
Talking to TIWN correspondent on Wednesday BJP state secretary Tapas Majumder said that the meet was organised to discuss about the various issues with Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha to provide the best service regarding the development of the railway service in the state in the coming days.
The meeting also raised the issue of the opening another entry gate of the Agartala railway station to Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha . However, the proposal was accepted by Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha . Listening to the proposal, Union Minister Manoj Sinha said he will look into the matter and take necessary steps.
While speaking at the press meet, Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha also said that few more over bridge will also be constructed to provide free flow of the common public at the platform.
However, Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha reiterated the issue that it is the central government for whom today Tripura has witnessed the first the BG railway service in the state.
He further claimed that the BG passenger train service will start in the state by the end of February.
Along with Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha , BJP newly elected President Biplab Deb, BJP state secretary Tapas Majumder and others remained present in the meeting.
