AGARTALA, Jan 13 (TIWN): All the registered candidates for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2016 were urged to complete the formalities of the data correction from January 21 of 2016 to January 31 of 2016.
According to the official reports, all the registered candidates for the JEE examination (Main) are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars.
Besides, the concern candidates were also advised to make correction in their particulars, if any, on the particulars available in their registration form.
Besides, it is also informed that the change of city for examination and change of mode from computer based to pen and paper based are not allowed during the correction of the particulars.
The candidates were strictly advised to make all the required corrections from January 21 of 2016 to January 31 of 2016.
Thereafter, no correction in particulars and others will be entertained by the JEE Unit under any circumstances.
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common engineering entrance examination which is conducted for admission in various engineering colleges and courses all over the country.
In the year 2012, Central Board of Secondary Education had announced this common examination and replaced the examinations like AIEEE and IIT-JEE.
It is to be mentioned here that JEE is conducted in two parts, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.
JEE-Advanced is conducted for the admission of the candidates to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
While the JEE-Main exam is for admission to Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and others.
