AGARTALA, Jan 7 (TIWN): Keeping an eye on the ensuing village committee election which is scheduled to be held in the mid of the February, Tripura Pradesh congress have geared up with the aim of strengthening the party in the coming days.
Addressing the meeting on Thursday at Congress Bhawan, PCC Chief Birajit Sinha has mentioned that they will fight together against the ruling Government and will successfully remove the Left Rule from the state.
Besides, in every step they will raise protest against the Left Rule Government and its misrule in the state.
It is to be mentioned here that PCC President Birajit Sinha presided over the meeting.
However, all the political parties in the state gears up with the preparation for the upcoming Village Committee election.
It is expected that in the coming days the preparation will began in full-fledged manner. Besides, preparations for the selection of the candidates are going on.
Besides, the other political parties are also gearing up for the upcoming village committee election.
Parties are holding meeting in the various interior parts of the state with an aim to grab the seats in the upcoming election. It is to be mentioned Left Front Party has begin their campaigning for the village election long back.
With an aim to win the upcoming village committee election, MLA Ashish Saha also visited the interior area of the state. He also visited Ambassa, Amarpur, Salema, Ampi and hold a meeting to discuss about the preparation for the village committee meeting.
It is to be mentioned here that on Thursday PCC President staged meeting with the members and discussed about the various initiatives to be taken to win the upcoming election.
During the meeting, the party das discussed about the selection procedure of the candidates for the election. Besides, he also said that Dibachandra Rankhol had conducted meeting in the North Tripura.
However, PCC chief Birajit Sinha, opposition leader Sudip Roy Barman, along with other dignitaries remained present in the programme.
