AGARTALA, Jan 7 (TIWN): The engaged construction agency has now taken up the work of the load test at Melarmath to check the stability of the soil. It is witnessed that the agency has now geared with up with the load testing work at the spot.Heavy equipments and machineries are piled up at the spot to carry out the load test at Melarmath before beginning with the pillaring work. The pilling work for the construction of fly over at Melarmath has begun in full swing. Although the construction work is underway at several spots but however, the agency has now also begun with the work at Melarmath. It is to be mentioned here that one part of the flyover will end at Melarmath and the other will end at Firebrigade chowmuhani. The suddenly gained progress in the work culture shows that the agency is now worried to finish the work in the given deadline. After the successful report of the soil test and load test at Battala, cement casting for the pillar is going in full swing at Melarmath. With the aim to meet the deadline for completing the fly over construction work is in speedy way. It is to be mentioned here that the pilling work has just begun at Melarmath to complete the work in the given deadline.Several parts of Road have been widened as part of the flyover project.

The width of each flank of the road has increased. Iron frame structure for pillars is already set up with the help of steel and iron bars and cement concrete. With the ongoing days, it is seen that the work progress has gone down and there is no much development in the work.

 A total of 65 pillars will be constructed for the first ever fly over which will connect from Drop gate to fire brigade chowmuhani.

Once the cement casting for the first pillar at Battala gets complete the construction work will be expanded towards bordowali. The workers are working with full efficiency to finish the construction work in the given deadline.

It is to be mentioned here that pilling for flyover is underway at all the spots including Battala, Firebrigade chowmuhani as well as Melarmath.

It is expected to decongest areas like Battala, Nagerjala, Melarmath will allow unhindered traffic flow with the completion of the fly over.

An uninterrupted movement of traffic on this stretch will definitely reduce the traffic congestion and improve the traffic management in the city.
