AGARTALA, Jan 6 (TIWN): BJP's senior central leader Suresh Pujari is scheduled to arrive in state on Wednesday to conduct the party election of BJP for the election of the new president of the party.State wing of BJP is all set to elect its new president. The party’s organisational election will be held on Wednesday. Although it was scheduled to be held in the previous year, but keeping in mind the municipal election the date was postponed.Talking to TIWN correspondent on Tuesday evening,, BJP present state president Sudindra Dasgupta said that the election will be held on Wednesday in presence of the delegates of the saffron party. He also said that BJP's senior central leader Suresh Pujari is scheduled to arrive in the state to complete the formalities of election.It is to be mentioned here that BJP Mahajan sampark observer Biplab Deb is on the run to be appointed as the new president of the party.Biplab Deb is on the run because he carries lots of weight following his prolonged stay in Delhi. But the result will come out in the election on Wednesday who takes the position as the new president of the state BJP wing.Sources added that if all goes well, as planned, BJP will fight the next State Assembly polls under the leadership of Biplab Deb. The source informed that the party is all set to get the RSS trained party worker Biplab Deb who was born in Udaipur and has been educated from Delhi.

However, it is to be mentioned here that in the Tripura municipal election BJP managed to win only 4 seats in Tripura out of 310 seats.    However, to save the name they have managed to gain two seats Dharmamnagar and two in Kumarghat. The BJP has suffered a major shock with such a fall in the election result. And if everything falls in place the next election will be held under the leadership of Biplab Deb.
