AGARTALA, August 12 (TIWN): A total of 2, 083 FIR has been lodged in the past eight months and 83, 878 Non-FIR, informed in the last day of the Monsoon Assembly on Tuesday.
Detailing about the lodged complaints, it has been mentioned that in the month of February altogether 309 FIR and 16, 872 Non-FIR has been lodged.
According to the report, in the month of March 380 FIR and 16, 113 Non-FIR has been lodged. However, in the month of April 371 FIR and 14, 512 Non-FIR and in the month of May 398 FIR and 14, 694 Non-FIR has been lodged.
Besides, in the month of June 398 FIR and 13, 985 Non-FIR and till July 15, a total of 227 FIR and 7302 Non-FIR has been lodged.
Altogether, of 2, 083 FIR and 83, 878 Non-FIR has been lodged in the past eight months.
Earlier, Altogether 2, 302 FIR and 96, 846 Non-FIR has been lodged.
Although, according to the Government record, the crime rate has been decreased but daily newspapers are always flooded with crime reports.
From the data revealed in the assembly session it appears that the reporting of crime has reduced due to the alleged threatening of the miscreants but crime against mankind happens regularly in the state.
