AGARTALA, June 30 (TIWN): Any work under joint scheme through co-operative society earns success which also ensures self sufficiency to the poor people, says Tourism Minister Ratan Bhowmik during an inaugural programme of a General Meet of Udaipur Primary Marketing Co-operative Society, recently.
While delivering the inaugural speech, Minister Bhowmik announced about the annual profit of Udaipur Primary Marketing Co-operative Society during the financial year 2014-15 which has been mentioned Rs, 11, 17, 983.
Expressing glad, Bhowmik said that in the coming days with an aim to move forward the society should eagerly think over different new business which will be beneficial for the poor people of the state.
During the meet, Chairman of the Co-operative Union Nitai Lal Biswas said that the co-operative can solve the problems of the poor people. Addressing the crowd he also urged to cooperate with the society to make it strong and to create a good image of the co-operative among the public.
Deputy Sabhadhipati of Gomati District Council Debondu Das, Deputy Controller of Co-operative Society of Gomati District Guru Proshonno Bhattachajee and others remained present at the programme.
Further, action plan of the current financial year were placed by Manager of the Co-operative society Mohan Pal.
