Power disruption hits more than 100 families of Patiram Para

AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): Giving an excuse of lack of contractual line maker in the Electricity Corporation of the state, around 100 families are deprived of the benefit of electricity for last one and half months.

Though the Electricity Corporation has been set to facilitate the people with adequate amount of electricity to meet their needs, 100 of families of Patiram Para of Mandai area are stroke with the crisis of electricity for last one and half month.

 Reportedly, during the first storm in the month of May, the blackout day started for the families which are continuing till day. Agitated locals performed several demonstrations demanding to renovate the pathetic condition of the area. But till day none of the authorities visited to enquire about the status of the families.

 After every request the authorities has assured to recover the situation but till day not a single step has been taken that to repair the electricity of the area.

 The prolonged power cut in this scorching summer season left the families to suffer, making their life tough. The locals alleged that the electricity division has failed to meet their needs. After the heavy storm occurred in the month of May till today, they are suffering from the prolonged power cut.

 The disrupt condition of electricity has worsen the daily life of the Patiram area. The local demanded to resume the electricity as soon as possible

 However, in this golden era where the ruling Government has been assuring the public to develop the state, on the other hand families like of Patiram Para of Mandai area are facing blackout day due to the negligence of the Department.
