UDAIPUR, June 12 (TIWN): A-48-year old woman namely Manju Dutta(48), W/O-Babul Dutta was struck by lightning on Thursday afternoon, when she was walking into her home. The event took place near to Amar Sagar Lake, where her house is located. The women had been immediately taken to the Gomati Dist. Hospital and her condition is very critical presently, as the doctors said.

The calamity happened at 1.30 pm. The effect of the thunder was very high. Reportedly, all the machinery things as TV, Refrigerator and other electronic devises got damaged of Babul Dutta’s house.

Such incidents are increasing day by day in this state. Lake of proper knowledge is the cause of such incidents. Lightning can cause unexpected damages including death.

Many people are injured by lightning during the summer season. So it’s better to be safe and protected during rainy seasons.
