AGARTALA, June 7 (TIWN): Demanding to stop corruption in the state, Ganatantrik Jukta Front, Agartala on Sunday calls for a Press Conference at Agartala Press Club.
Addressing the media, Chairman of Ganatantrik Jukta Front Nakul Das placed demand, saying more than 7 lakh literate youth have been sitting idle. Allegation has been raised that no initiative has been taken yet to provide a fruitful opportunity to the youth by the ruling Government of the state.
Further it has been stated that year after year around 3500 seats have been getting vacant in Government office but those are not getting fulfilled. Interestingly, during the conference it has been mentioned that recently the number of employees in the state is around 1 lakh, which is very less compare to the total population of the state.
They further said that altogether 45000 vacant seats are there among which 31000 are reserved for SC and ST but the ruling government is intentionally not giving opportunity to the needy public.
They also alleged that the state government is not talking any initiatives to develop the industrial sector of the state, which would help to increase the employment in the state.
Along with it they also talked about old age allowance and food scam which would be stopped in the state to develop the economy of the state along with the education and health sector.
During the press conference, Ganatantrik Jukta Front convener Ashim Sarkar was present.
