BELONIA, May 19 (TIWN): On yet another embarrassment for Tripura Police administration, the Belonia Police Station Police on Monday arrested temporarily expelled Belonia Municipal worker Shimul Ray from Belonia Women PS Poluce Constable Ishani Saha’s house. Ray was arrested as per Negotiable Instruments (NI) Act, 1881.
Earlier as per NI Act Court issuing an arrest warrant against Shimul Ray asked the police to arrest him as earliest as possible and produce him before the court.
Interestingly, it was found that the accused criminal under NI Act Shimul Ray managed to take shelter at Police constable Ishani Saha’s rented house at Belonia Bashpara Colony.
Besides, it has also been learnt that police Constable Ishani Saha is surviving her life with a live-in-relationship with another Shayan Saha. Both of them were living their unmarried life for the past six to seven months at Ishani’s rented house.
Earlier several allegations were also raised against the Belonia Women PS Police Constable Ishani Saha for giving shelter to adults at her rented house. It was alleged that after Ishani’s husband expired she started living her life keeping illegal and extra marital affair with others.
However, but such an incident has triggered a huge resentment among the locals of the area and besides, such allegations against Ishani Saha has brought another major embarrassment for the Tripura Police administration
Because when the police are assigned with their duty to restrict illegal activities in the society, it was learnt that police itself are on a spree sheltering criminals at their own house.
