KAILASHAHAR/AGARTALA, May 6 (TIWN): The Kailashahar Zilla Congress organized a protest rally regarding 11 point charter of demands and submitted a deputation to the BDO of Gournagar RD Block namely Anupam Chakraborty, here on Tuesday.

Addressing in the rally PCC president Birajit Sinha said that the uninterrupted 22 ­year stint in power seems to have taken a toll on the financial transparency of the Left Front administration in Tripura. Corruption in implementation of rural development schemes continues unabated. There is a state government of Tripura eats up all the money which comes from the central government for development, he alleged.

Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is favoring all the ongoing scams of the state similarly he also failed to protect the lives and properties of the women of the state. 

He criticized the CPI-M government over issues of spurious ­drug, atrocities against women, corruption, malfunctioning of PDS, chit fund, deterioration of law and order, underdevelopment of tribal people and deprivation of employees during the agitation.

He also criticized the tight­lipped gesture of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar over the increasing crimes and vowed to intensify party’s agitation across the state. He also urged the public to condemn the role of Chief Minister, who also holds the Home portfolio. The state government deep necked in corruption and CPI-M is not the Government for the people. The Left Front do not care about peoples and there problems, they do not settle issues. He also criticizes the Left Front Government’s alternative policies and said that those are against common people.
